A Hall sensor is the required input for almost all modern ECU's including AEM, Motec, Haltech and others. Many aftermarket ecus read the Hall signal much better than they do the oem signal from the distributor. A lot of times you'll notice a smoother idle & much smoother power at high rpm. Our cam trigger bracket and modified cam gears also allows complete removal of the factory distributor when a multi channel CDI box & individual coils are used.
