There is nothing better than a plate full of Deviled Eggs at a family function. They instantly remind us of our youth, and the taste of "Mom's deviled eggs". Since the first recipes appeared in 1896, deviled eggs have played a big part in picnics, Easter Dinners, Sunday Family Dinners and large gatherings, such as weddings and 4th of July Celebrations. This Depression glass, Deviled Egg Tray, dates back to the early 1930s. It holds 15 deviled eggs at a time. Just place on top of a bowl of ice cubes to keep the eggs cool while serving. The plate's rather thick glass is in excellent condition, obviously, well cared for and loved over the last 90 years. In real life. the glass is crystal clear and bright, our photos were reflecting to much glare, therefore, we removed the lighting which has created shadows, but more details.
