Cadmium Oxide, also known as Cadmium Fume and Cadmium Monoxide has the chemical formula CdO. It appears as an odorless, yellow-brown colored crystal or amorphous powder. It is insoluble in Water at ambient conditions. Lab Alley’s Cadmium Oxide, Lab Grade contains 100% Cadmium Oxide and is prepared by dissolution of Cadmium Carbonate, Sulfide or Hydroxide in Hydrobromic Acid. Chemically pure, or Laboratory reagents are two terms often used to describe Lab Grade chemicals. Lab Grade chemicals do not meet any accepted quality or purity requirements such as the ACS Grade, the USP Grade, and the FCC Grade, despite their acceptable purity.
