ABOUT THE ARTIST: Theo Haze THEO HAZE is a contemporary artist, working with many mediums but known for his spiritual figurative paintings best. He is currently living and working in Japan. He has been climbing mountains with his father since he was 3 years old. The place felt sacred and mystical.  It was something that can't be seen by the naked eye. When he was in university of fine arts, he studied under Shozo Shimamoto of the GUTAI. Through his exploration of philosophy and religion that are deeply related to art, he studied mythology/folklore with going to the site. At the same time, he started Tsugaru shamisen (Japanese guitar instrument) for the quest of Japanese identity.
