DETAILS: 23.5” x 31.5” x 0.5” Oil and Cold Wax on Canvas Original Art Work Unframed ABOUT THE ARTIST: Kathy Nettles In 2018 Kathy closed her successful holistic therapy business to paint full time, taking short courses at local art establishments and then began training with the prestigious Newlyn School of Art, taking both the year long courses in Defining Practice and Studio Practice.  Just as she was about to launch her art business (Kathy Nettles Art) and begin exhibiting her work the world-wide pandemic closed everything down.  Always looking to turn a negative to a positive Kathy decided to continue her artistic education and took the online Mastery Course with the Milan Art Institute based in the United States and continued to develop and discover her artist voice. At present Cathryn is working towards creating a new series of abstract expressionist work for exhibitions in 2021 and is exploring collaborations with a sound therapist.
