Dunlap focuses on the capture of breath-taking landscapes, and seascapes, capturing images that make the viewer feel as if they are there experiencing nature. He studied under the renowned teacher and photographer Dr. Born. He has won numerous awards, starting as a 16-year-old winning multiple national contests. A long-time photography teacher, and head of several photography departments. He had the good fortune to travel the country photographing wild places for over forty years. Starting with 4/5 negative film and transitioning to state-of-the-art digital imaging systems.
