DETAILS: 16"T x 28.8”W PhotoArt on Acrylic Limited Edition Description: Lilies of the Pond I had never seen lily pads quite so colorful, cool and unique as those at Lotusland botanical garden in Santa Barbara, CA. After working on the image a bit, I thought the interesting shapes and colors demanded a more dramatic presentation. The result is more abstract, with a close view of the plants apart from their water habitat. Photo taken and created in 2023. ABOUT THE ARTIST: Bruce Orr Based in Dallas, Bruce learned his creative and design perspective from a variety of sources over a long-period of time: college and professionally-taught photography classes; career in the advertising business; Board chair of the Dallas Contemporary art museum.
