“Our Glennon story started on July 11th, 2020, when I took my daughter, Juliana, who had just turned two, to the emergency room at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital. Just a few hours later, our world fell apart when we heard the words, ‘there is a tumor’. Despite immediate treatment, Juliana lost her sight that same night. The pressure was too extensive from the tumor which is skull based and wraps around her head and behind her eyes. She spent the next few weeks fighting to stay with us while admitted to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. It was during this time that her diagnosis was confirmed - Stage 4 Neuroblastoma.  It was unfavorable and had spread extensively to every corner of her little body.” – Stephanie, Juliana’s mom Juliana has bravely fought, against all odds, for the past three years.
