THE STORY Through a bird’s early morning golden eyes, here is an unusual glance at the Boulder Flatirons. The grounding presence of these bold rocks, for so many and me, is a magical catalyst of happiness. For a handful of years, the siren song of the Flatirons was the first thing I heard every morning — so it was imperative for me to go out and create a unique piece of Boulder art that would serve as a time machine whenever I long for those mornings once again.
