THE STORY Nothing puts my mind at ease like staring out at the sea. The rhythmic motion of the waves triggers an almost hypnotic state of serene wonder. My busy mind — which I so rarely manage to just switch off — finally drifts into a contemplative state of simply being. I wanted to create a photograph that would induce a similar mindset more often. And so, KAINOA was born: An ode to the peacefulness and calmness of the sea, perfect for any lover of the ocean.
