A Shoulder To Stand On

Our cashmere goat Chicory learned she could stand on the sheep backs to reach higher pine needles for snacking on.  To honor this collaboration, I created this image for a stitched Christmas card a couple years ago. I use it as a stand-along image, but have digitized it to work as a horizontal repeat, and if I were to use it over an entire quilt, I would freehand some billowy clouds between rows to be a soft filler row.
