One 45 lb. bag covers up to 11,250 sq ft at the rate of 4 lbs/1,000 sq ft  0.172% Dithiopyr is the active ingredient Great for crabgrass and other grassy and broadleaf weed prevention Product Description:Dithiopyr is an excellent choice to prevent annual bluegrass (poa annua), Henbit, hairy bittercress, chickweed, and other annuals if you are NOT SEEDING/OVERSEEDING your lawn. It is a primary part of the fall strategy down south for longer protection due to milder winters. Application Information:  You can use this pre-emergent in the spring or fall. However, for the LCN/YM programs, it’s primarily used in the fall for anyone who has reached their annual maximum on Prodiamine.
