Meaning: This painting was born the moment I realized I was exhausted from trying to outsmart fear. Living with OCD means my mind catastrophizes everything. Every noise, every feeling, every decision, I’ve already imagined the worst possible outcome and taken twelve steps to prevent it. It’s like constantly auditioning for a disaster that hasn’t even happened yet. And somewhere along the way, I started believing the lie that if I just followed all the rituals, if I stayed alert enough, anxious enough, clean enough, controlled enough, then maybe nothing bad would happen. But I’m tired. I’m tired of letting fear win.I’m tired of choosing suffering just because it feels familiar.I’m
