Citrus Shower Steamers are essential if you prefer a shower to a bath. They are made with sodium bicarbonate and citric acid just like bath bombs. I have included citrus essential oils and fragrances that can wake up your senses. But rather than placing them into a tub, the steamer is placed on the floor of the shower. The water activates the fizzing reaction and releases the essential oils and fragrances into the air. The scent creates a spa-like shower. My recipe does contain a fair amount of essential oil, therefore it is NOT recommended for the bath (only shower).
