2006 Saxum "Broken Stones" Paso Robles Rhone Blend

NOTES FROM JUSTIN (wine maker): "The 2006 Broken Stones differs a bit from previous vintages. We gave it a little more time in barrel, 20 months to be exact, and pushed the release back 6 months to give it extra time in bottle to settle down. The fruit came from James Berry Vineyard, Heart Stone Vineyard, and Booker Vineyard. As before, it is Syrah based but now has a good dose of Grenache and a splash of Mourv̬dre. These 2006 wines are fairly forward with a more open structure than the 2005‰۪s, which will make them enjoyable at an earlier age."
