2009 Bodegas Olarra "A̱ares" Reserva Rioja

*Good Value* Tempranillo, Garnacha, Mazuelo, Graciano. This winery dates back to 1973 and they work with vineyards from Baja and Alavesa zones to produce their wine. Cold maceration, 21 days of alcoholic fermentation, 18 months in American and French oak. The wine is a blend from at least four different villages. Rioja integrated style. Complex and very clean nose, where all aromas are well balanced, showing oak, red fruits and cinnamon. Medium intensity flavours but very elegant. The texture on the palate is expressive, vinous with quality chalky tannins. Overall the wine is still fresh despite its age and has already developed a bouquet.
