Tiny Fire GHOST PRINT - woodblock print (5x7")

Only 1 made! "Tiny Fire" is a cute little print inspired by my larger print "To Calm You." I love the little flames reaching outwards. A reminder that the fires get rid of invasive species so that true native plants can survive and thrive. Printed on cream thick cotton paper with red and orange inks from a hand carved wood block. The background color was actually printed from a copper plate during my college days! This was a fun way to use up some good paper and make a unique print. It's a "ghost" print because the block is printed with any leftover ink on the block after it's already been printed. This leaves the print a bit speckled and see through. Title, artist signature, edition number, and year of production appear on the front.
