The Self Isolation series is Nicole Tang's creative response to dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic. Experiences of self-quarantine, isolation, solitude and social distancing were all strong elements that allowed the creation of this body of work. This series was art therapy in dealing with mental health and staying balanced while being indoors for an extended period of time. The body of work allows for self-reflection on life’s choices, purpose and impact on others and the world. This is one of the most powerful series she has done that has been life changing.   Artist Bio: Nicole Tang is a Trinidadian visual artist and art teacher who was traditionally trained in painting, drawing and sculpture.
