I am a graphic designer, artist, and art teacher, compelled to use my skills to help the planet. I plan to create one design each day for 2022. These designs are for sale on organic and sustainable products to help spread awareness of our growing plastic pollution problem by reminding us that we can choose less single-use plastic.  About "CALIFORNIA" Design #37: Since surfing comes to mind with California's long and glorious coast, and since much of the surfing community leads the way in protecting oceans by cleaning up the plastics and educating people on plastic pollution in the ocean, I choose to use a surfing theme for the California design. One line is for the wave and one for is for the board, both under a peach sun.
