Growth Habit: Upright, this variety may grow to reach 2-3' tall indoors. Light Requirements: Does not prefer direct sunlight. In outdoor garden spaces, ferns do well in shade, but inside they do prefer bright to moderate indirect light! Toxicity: Bird's nest ferns are nontoxic to both cats and dogs according to ASPCA. General Care: Prefer constant moisture in the soil without it being soggy.
