If you don't purchase an Icom MBA-5, this mount is great. It comes with a plate with holes that will line up with the holes in the IC-2730 control head. This package also comes with the rare 2.6mm screws to attach the plate to the Icom IC-2730 control head. The plate will accept a 1/4-20 stud. Since there is not a standard for cup holders in vehicles, the cup holder mount base can be expanded from 2.5" to 3.5" by turning the expansion knob. The height can be adjusted from 7" to 9" measured from the top of the base.
