Nettle Soap

Stinging Nettle is very popular in the Slavic community where it is known as крапива. It is commonly seen in saunas, where it is used as a massage broom to cool down and improve blood circulation. Since nettle is very beneficial to the skin we focused on maximizing the quantity of nettle used for this recipe. We began our soap process with a nettle and olive oil infusion, which allows the many nutrients found in nettle to transfer into the oil it is being steeped in. We then add nettle powder (ground nettle leaves) into the butters and oils to make a nurturing, moisturizing soap bar. 100% Natural Body Soap Lily's soaps are handmade from scratch, in small batches, using the cold process method.
