Primary Grade: 12 Grade Range: 11, 12 Credit Equivalency: Semester: 0.5 Credits COURSE DESCRIPTION NCAA Eligible CourseLincoln Empowered Introduction to College Writing prepares students to create freshman writing pieces as they move toward their post-secondary education. In this course, they learn the skills necessary to build a solid foundation for basic college writing as they focus on informative and persuasive writing. Students practice organization, tone, and style in their work to ensure that they are well-rounded and skilled writers. Finally, students discover how to locate and present research and evidence in a logical, well-organized manner. TEACHER SERVICES All course teachers are certified, subject-area content experts. The teacher will grade student assessments and provide detailed feedback. The course teacher is available to answer student questions via email, during scheduled office hours, or by virtual appointment. T
