Technical Writing - Credit Recovery

Primary Grade: 10 Grade Range: 9, 10 Credit Equivalency: Semester: 0.5 Credits COURSE DESCRIPTION Written communication skills and documentation in the business environment are central to the Technical Writing course. This course enables students to understand a variety of documents and allows them to perfect their technical writing abilities. From journal writing, email, and directional writing to memos and letter drafting, students encounter numerous types of technical writing and build upon their technical skills and knowledge. In the credit recovery instance of this course, pre- and post-tests measure student mastery at the learning objective level.
