About Darioush Our pursuit to create wines with deep character, courage and integrity has, after years of experimentation, led us to a first-of-its kind, single-vineyard Bordeaux blend exclusively grown from our Sage Vineyard estate. Our 22-acre site perched atop Mount Veeder is comprised of 31 distinct vineyard blocks, each with unique soils, water and sun requirements. For over a decade, we’ve adapted our meticulous vineyard practices to capture the nuance of this diverse ecosystem. Made only in certain vintages, the wines are designed to showcase the complex aromas and flavors of their hillside origins; they are at once site-expressive and powerful, round and impeccably balanced— all traits that inspired the artistry of this label. TASTING NOTES Relatively warm growing seasons such as 2014 unlock the full potential of the Mount Veeder appellation, resulting in a very provocative initial offering of our Sage Vineyard Red Wine. Densely packed with rich, red and black fruits complement
