The nose is filled with bright & fragrant black cherry scents and oak notes. The palate displays a ripe cherry fruit characteristic and is accompanied by an underlying touch of classic chianti earthiness that carries through on the soft plush finish. I like to pour this wine into a braised veal & pork sauce that I make for fettuccine then drink it with the meal.
