Description This ancient bronze coin features a Hippocampus with elegant forward-swept wings.   On the other side, Athena, goddess of wisdom and war, wears a Corinthian helmet. The hippocampus is viewed as a benevolent and spiritual creature. As a mythical creature, it is strongly associated with creativity, imagination, agility, and strength. Sailors regarded the hippocampus as a good omen because it could control the waves and the weather.   Athena: Athena was Zeus's favorite daughter.
