The story: When my husband saw this, he immediately said, “it’s the garden at Versailles!” That wasn’t what I was thinking originally when I painted this, but it’s perhaps a good compromise. He was thinking about the tall trees in the endless straight garden paths that we rented a golf cart and drove all around, in the rain. I was thinking that sometimes in life, like in 2020, you just have to keep moving forward, when it’s rainy, when it’s a little foggy, when you don’t know where things are going but the direction is clear.  Finish: gallery-wrapped canvas or fine art paper Recommended frame: sleek black or ornate white Great for: rooms that need definition and an angular landscape complement Collections: treescapes, adventure, seasons, landscapes
