Dancing in the Rain

We were eating lunch in Paris one afternoon a couple of years ago when it started to rain. There was an adult dance class performing in the open area in front of the patio where we were sitting. The couples never missed a beat as the rain came down. I'll never forget their laughter as they continued to twirl around in their bright skirts and shirts, splashing through the puddles. As I was thinking of names for this painting, that day suddenly came to mind. The saturated colors swirl like dancers against the ethereal backdrop featuring washes of blue, pink, and yellow.
