Description Engagement inventories are used to assess and notice student attitudes and behaviors in reading and writing. These noticings provide valuable insight into a childs reading and/or writing life. Included are two whole class observation forms--reading and writing. Sometimes we need to track and monitor individual students for a variety of reasons. The individual student version provides is tracking tool to be used over several days, weeks, months or however you choose. Included is a space for analyzing the data to draw conclusions and drive instruction. These items could be kept in the students literacy portfolio.
