Original Painting, "Igniting Water", oil on canvas, 24" x 48"

Original oil painting by Liz Vaughn.  "Igniting Water" was originally part of a figurative diptych that never quite landed where I wanted.  Each piece became a separate entity and emerged quite differently.  After a number of revisions, this piece landed with a powerful and emotional presence that I could not say no to.  The gift of creating presents itself differently each time I am in the studio, and I absolutely love the mystery of that.  Not unlike "Savior" I see influences of Outsider and RAW art within this piece, and know with certainty that she will have an enormous visual impact where ever she might land.  Created 09/2023 Dimensions:  2 feet wide by 4 feet tall by 2 inches deep.  Gallery wrapped canvas stretched and painted around each sides.  Ready to hang, no frame necessary.   Materials: Oil paint, charcoal, chalk pastel, gel crayon, canvas *Please note that shipping a large painting of this size would require special arrangements.
