Original oil painting by Liz Vaughn. "Seeds of Divinity".  Oh pink how I love you so!  It does seem that I have been rather fixated on the color pink for quite some time.  Funny how the more you try and pull away from repeating a color theme, the more it appears!  This particular piece embraces a "less is more" type of philosophy incorporating mark making in pure form and a limited application of paint.  If you look closely you can see pencil and charcoal marks.  I have always loved Expressionism, it feels free, natural, and uncontrived.  I feel an emotional pull, a passion, when I paint in this style that is ultimately transforming my work.  Created: 2022 Dimensions: 20" inches wide by 20" inches high by 2" inches deep.
