Tairin S1 Rear Hub - 6-Bolt - 12x148mm

(INCLUDES DH Adaptive Kit (148 to 150)) **the S1 returns for the 2024 season!** This is the new Tairin hub, with the modular silent S1 drive configuration. Featuring face gears that dissengage when freewheeling for a complete silent ride. The S1 features our Floating Engagement Index, designed to ease the effects of pedal kickback from some frame suspension designs. The floating engagement allows the S1 freehub to be 15 degrees from engagement every time the freehub is driven forwards after freewheeling, as opposed to ratcheting hubs, where the angular distance from engagement is up to chance within the range of the degrees of engagement. The Tairin hub can swap between the S1 and R1 drives without tools (the magnetically ratcheting R1 drive kit is not included and can be purchased separately).
