Acrylic on canvas with crushed rock, framed For this piece, I began with a palette of rich greens, coppers and black. As the colors moved across the canvas, I felt as though I had a bird’s eye view of the world. I allowed the paint to curve into natural looking geographical boundaries, which I then enhanced with crushed rock.
