How do we develop rhythmic skills?This question sits at the core of every musician’s journey—touching on syncopation, displacement, rhythmic independence, interaction, and improvisation. In this hands-on workshop, Dafnis Prieto will guide participants through concepts and exercises drawn from his acclaimed book Rhythmic Synchronicity. Designed for non-drummers (though drummers are absolutely welcome), the session will explore individual and collective rhythm work. Through clapping, singing, and tapping, attendees will internalize rhythmic cells and phrases—building skills in memory, coordination, and ensemble interaction.
