Description The Chinese elm is celebrated for its interesting bark and small evergreen leaves. It's hardy, with excellent and natural branching characteristics. With a twisted trunk and some well planned tiered layers (pads), this bonsai looks old and distinguished.It is semi-deciduous, which means it can be indoors all year, or outdoors if the winter temperature doesn't get colder than 45 degrees and is well protected.
