Description The dwarf European Beech is a super slow grower, making this aged bonsai a great treat. The foliage has a lovely wave pattern, with new growth forming in tube shaped buds. The new buds are so tender, that the dead leaves don't generally fall off of the tree until spring growth begins. In the fall, the foliage develops a spectacular color show May lose foliage in shipping - but it will grow back in the spring. Deciduous - keep outdoors. Specifications 57 years old. About 23" x 26" x 34" tall. Spectacular fall color. Outdoor deciduous bonsai tree. Potted in an 18" brown rectangular mica bonsai pot.
