Description Light/Soil/Water Hardiness Astrophytum Myriostigma is a rare star cactus that has no spikes but white hairy scales that give it a characteristic chalk-white or silvery-grey appearance. It often has 5 ribs, but can grow up to 8 ribs with age. Astrophytum Myriostigma can grow up to 8 inches (20 cm) in diameter. This cactus variety is loved by people for its easygoing nature. Its flowers are funnel-shaped, glossy yellow, sweet-scented, and can grow up to 3 inches (7.5 cm) long. Mature plants can produce deep red fruits that are up to 1 inch (2.5 cm) in diameter.
