Melanistic Horse Conch Shell with Operculum & Perio- 9"

This is a fabulous collectible Horse Conch shell with the original periostracum layer still attached. The shells with the 'Perio' have a more organic natural appearance- some will have natural barnacle growth or calcium deposits. You will receive the shell in the pictures. This shell has a ton of pigmentation that is why we use the word melanistic. This shell also has it's operculum. Measurements are approximately 9"" These conch shells are perfect as a feature display piece, and look spectacular on a mantle, bookshelf, or even on as desk.
