Triton's Trumpet Charonia Variegata Display Shell - 11"

Triton Trumpet Charonia Variegata is a species of  large sea snail that can reach up to two feet. Found through out the indo-pacific oceans most commonly around reefs where they feed on starfish, including the crown of thorns starfish. This shell is well known as a decorative object and is sometimes modified for use as a trumpet.
