Banded Utah "Treebark" Rhyolite Slab

Intricate, off-white and taupe swirls wind through a deep, chocolate-colored base in this striking rhyolite - a bit reminiscent of marbling. The banding becomes so fine at certain intervals that it freckles. Fantastic swirling detail! From Utah. This is a rough, unpolished slab.
