This classic, old-stock material comes from an area near Medicine Bow in Albany County, Wyoming. It is one of the best and most renowned sources of dendritic agates in the world. The dendrites are manganese oxides and the surrounding agate can be white, blue, or both. I've heard that the older digs are predominately white agate while the newer stuff is bluer, but am not sure if this is true. This slab is showing dense black plumes surrounding by white agate, with some delicate, light blue outlining, plus occasional pockets of druzy. This is a rough, unpolished slab. Please observe images closely for flaws, as some degree of that is normal. Pictured wet and dry. Approximate measurements: Weight: 88 grams Height & Width: 3.1" x 2.4" at widest points Depth: 0.36" to 0.26" General info: Rough Rock Slabs
