Balancing Boxes

Balancing Boxes is a small playful side table designed by Stockholm studio Front. The set of irregular overlapping boxes, some of which appear to be falling or perhaps floating in space, were inspired by the idea of defying gravity. Fortunately, instability is only in appearance as the boxes are fashioned from either welded sheet metal or wood to complement a wide spectrum of interior styles. Much like any creative piece of art, the Balancing Boxes are left to interpretation. Hardly a regular bedside table, its function is in the eye of the beholder and can also function as a storage unit, a magazine rack, or a piece of focal art for display. Available in white or black powder-coated steel or Palissandro Santos wood.
