Geologists discovered it in 2006 while searching for the currently mined out Ocean Jasper. “Polychrome” means multicolored. “Jasper” means spotted or speckled. Polychrome Jasper is a beautifully vivid multicolored specimen that reminds one of the Painted Desert.  Polychrome Jasper has an energy that is potent and it will allow the user to find their passions in life, to become more creative in their endeavors as well as ground them while exploring new heights. Polychrome Jasper can also help harmonize the spirits to be receptive to new relationships Polychrome Jasper, an opaque crystal, is usually banded or free-formed and found in red, yellow, brown and green.
