x MAMA BEAR Statement Cuff - All Heavy Sterling Silver with 14K Gold Accents - size M to L

  The is quite the statement cuff and the heftiest piece of jewelry I've made to date, and that says a lot. This Mama Bear weighs in at 5.5 ounces of recycled Sterling Silver and with the turquoise it's fighting weight is a whopping 6 ounces. A lot of labor and love went into this cuff. It started with cleaning and recycling the silver, then making molds of the actual claw specimen: bear, badger and silver fox. Then I cast them all myself here at our home workshop. I hand fabricated the two blossoms and added 14K Gold to the center of each.  It features a big, beautiful, natural Stone Mountain Ribbon Turquoise cut and cabbed with Oregon rainwater, by my partner and 2nd generation Indigenous Lapidarist, Max Avila. He did a gorgeous job on this gemmy ribbon too. Perfect cuff cab. I set it in a heavy sterling plain bezel and surrounded it with textured wire that I left darker.
