A bit of old-school inspiration has always been a part of the NMD R1, but Adidas’ newest take on the ultra popular silhouette goes beyond the design cues taken from classic three stripes running models. The ‘Color Static’ NMD R1 utilizes a multicolored Primeknit upper meant to resemble the static of a detuned television set from the time before digital cable and streaming services. You can try banging on the top of the box for old time’s sake, but this is probably one time where you’ll want the static to stick around. If a size is not listed, it is sold out.
