Raf Simons’ work with Adidas has taken on a variety of forms: ultramodern avant garde, elegant minimalism, reimagined classics, but if you were to choose a single, representative face of the Raf Simons x Adidas aesthetic, it would be the Ozweego, the futuristic running silhouette that blurred the lines between high fashion and athletics beyond all recognition. For Spring 2018, a new form of the Ozweego makes its debut. The Ozweego Replicant deconstructs the two layer upper of the original Ozweego silhouette with cut out paneling, leaving negative space, for an avant garde twist on the popular silhouette that is also in tune with seasonal fashion needs.
