• This seasonal fall favorite is back - get yours while they last! This bar is ONLY available in the fall as we craft it with fresh Macoun apples we pick from our very own trees, and freshly pressed apple cider from local orchard Honey Pot Hill.  The spice is single origin Cinnamon Verum sourced directly from Zanzibar, Tanzania by our friends at Burlap and Barrel.   It's the ultimate medley of fall flavors. About Our Macoun Apples Macouns are often hard to find because the trees don't produce reliable crops each year. We have several here on the farm, two of which are mature enough to produce enough apples for this bar on good years. Luckily this is a good year! The apple is named after horticulturalist W.T. Macoun, who developed it in 1932 by crossing McIntosh and Jersey Black apples. The name can be pronounced as either "Ma-coon" or "McCowan." As for us, we have a pretty even split between the pronunciations - luckily both are right!  The flavor is sweet, tart and classic New England
