Joyful Humpback   Whale watching is always a lot of fun.  In the spring the adults come through Ketchikan feeding on all the bounty here in southeast.  No one knows why the whales jump, some say because they are playing, others say it is to shake loose some of the "hangers on" they are plagued with.  I like to think it is a lot like us diving off the rocks into the ocean.  We don't do it all that often but when we do it is just astounding and one of the great joys of living here.
