Seasonal Foraging 5 Day Intensive
Our five day intensives are in-depth hands on experiences in getting the most out of the season you choose to study. We locate, harvest, process, preserve, and prepare many of the meals and medicines that get us through each Winter to the next year as well as take full advantage of seasonal treats and surprises. Massive yields, sustainable harvest, and the organization to collect the nutrients we needed to get through winter. This is the trademark skill of foraging where there is so much food to gather in so little time. Learn the techniques, the sequencing of events, the strategies, and the procedures to get the most out of foraging before the winter months descend. The school has been working on a year round sustainable wild harvest for the last twenty years and is eager to share this years harvest.
